Flights

There is no airport in Kea. The closest airport is in Athens, the capital of Greece. The International Airport of Athens receives flights from most airports around the country and also flights to many airports in the world. From the airport in Athens, you take a bus or taxi to Lavrion. From the port of Lavrion, there are daily ferries to Kea and the ferry time is about 1 hour. 

Car & Taxi

Welcome to Athens! If you are interested in renting a car for your holidays - the major renting companies can be found at the airport. For example, Hertz and Avis. By renting the car you will have more freedom to explore the island of Kea.If you do not want to rent a car you can hire a taxi service from the airport to the port of Lavrion, with welcome pickups.

Ferry

Taking a ferry to Kea island is quite simple. There is a ferry to Kea every day, departing from the port of Lavrion near Athens, on the southernmost part of Attica. The trip takes about an hour. There is no ferry to Kea from Piraeus. Please purchase your tickets in advance! We strongly advise you arrive on the island a day before the wedding. Once you arrive at the port of Kea, you can find a taxi to take you to your hotel!
